5 rules

S1

Accepting the rules

By playing on the server or joining the Đất Việt Discord, you are considered to have read, understood and agreed to follow all of these rules. Not knowing the rules is not an excuse.

S2

Rule changes

Đất Việt may update or change these rules. Important changes are announced on the server's official channels. If you keep playing on the server after an update, you accept the new rules.

S3

The rules apply everywhere

Đất Việt has no "Hot Zone" and no exception areas. The rules apply on the whole map, at all times, while you play on the server.

S4

Things the rules do not mention

A behaviour that the rules do not mention is not automatically allowed. If you are not sure, ask Staff or open a support ticket before you do it.

S5

Reporting a violation

When you report a player, include an F2 Replay and/or screenshots, the player's name/ID, what they did, when it happened and who was involved. The more complete the report, the easier it is for Staff to verify.

II

Zero tolerance

5 rules

Z1

Cheating / exploiting

Using cheats, hacks, exploits, bugs or macros to gain an unfair advantage leads to a permanent ban.

Z2

Deliberately abusing loopholes

Deliberately looking for and abusing loopholes in the rules or in the server's systems to gain an unfair advantage can lead to a permanent ban.

Z3

Discrimination / hate

Discrimination, inciting hatred or attacking people for personal characteristics, in the game, on Discord or in voice chat, can lead to a permanent ban.

Z4

Serious harassment

Serious harassment, threats or deliberately causing serious harm to other people can lead to a permanent ban.

Z5

Zero-tolerance bans

Zero-tolerance bans are serious and do not go through the normal appeal process.

III

General rules

7 rules

G1

Language

The server's global chat is in Vietnamese. You may use another language in Local Chat if everyone taking part understands it. When a player who does not understand that language joins, switch to Vietnamese.

G2

Respect

Do not harass, bully or provoke other players, deliberately cause drama, or be excessively toxic towards them. Hateful behaviour or serious harassment can fall under Z3/Z4.

G3

Voice Chat

Voice Chat is mainly for communicating in the game. Do not use voice to swear, cause drama, pick fights or argue for no reason.

G4

Third-party

Third-party means an independent player or group joining a fight that is already going on between other groups.

✅ Third-party is allowed when the fight is between two different species, but you may not join if your own species is one of the sides.

🛡️ Exception: you may join to protect a member who was already in your group before the fight started.

⚠️ Cooperating, allying or coordinating with each other before or after a fight can be treated as an illegal group.

G5

Leaving a fight (Combat Log)

Do not log out, quit the game, use the Garage, kill yourself or do anything similar to avoid a fight while you are being chased, hunted or are in a fight.

G6

Asking Staff for favours

Do not message or tag Staff to ask for privileges such as unlocks, growth or other special benefits. Use the proper support channel or the ticket system.

G7

When a fight starts

▶️ A fight starts when one side clearly intends to kill the other, shown by chasing or by actively attacking.

⏹️ A fight ends when one side dies or every side has fully withdrawn. Lying still for more than 5 minutes counts as having withdrawn.

⚠️ Keeping a group above the limit after a fight has started can be punished under the Overpack/Mixpack rules.

IV

Herbivores

3 rules

H1

No alliances with carnivores

Herbivores may not group with, ally with or help carnivores.

H2

Mixed herbivore groups

A mixed herbivore group is at most 3 species and 6 individuals. Each species' own limit still applies.

🍽️ An omnivore that joins a herbivore group counts towards both the number of species and the total number of individuals.

☝️ A group of a single species is not a mixed group.

H3

Stegosaurus and Triceratops

Stegosaurus and Triceratops may only group with their own species. They may not form mixed groups with other species, including Gallimimus or Beipiaosaurus.

V

Carnivores

3 rules

C1

Cannibalism

Cannibalism is allowed, but you may not betray members of your group.

⚔️ You may not join a fight if a member of your own species is already fighting the other side, under the Third-party rule.

C2

No Mixpack

Carnivores may not group or ally with herbivores or with other carnivore species. They may only group with their own species; Beipiaosaurus is the exception, see O1.

C3

Camping in no-camp areas

Small carnivores (Troodon, Herrerasaurus) may camp in no-camp areas, for example the Coconut Forest (Rừng Dừa).

VI

Omnivores

2 rules

O1

Beipiaosaurus

Beipiaosaurus may group or ally with any species. This does not, however, make groups that other rules forbid legal.

⚠️ Beipiaosaurus still may not group with Stegosaurus or Triceratops, because of H3.

O2

Gallimimus

Gallimimus may only group with herbivores and Beipiaosaurus, never with carnivores. Mixed groups must still respect the limits in H2.

VII

Group limits

4 rules

P1

Stay within your species' limit

Do not go above your species' group limit. This applies both when travelling and when fighting. Deliberately going above the limit can earn Violation Points (VP).

P2

Merged groups

Players of the same species who travel, hunt or fight together count as one group, even if they have not formed a Group in the game. The group's total may not exceed the species' limit.

P3

Juveniles

Raising young or breeding in a group is allowed. Juveniles below 40% Growth do not count towards the group limit; from 40% Growth they count as a group member and the limit applies.

P4

Mutations that raise the Group Limit

Some Mutations can raise the maximum number of members in a Group.

If a player has a Mutation that raises the Group Limit, that species' group limit may go up by exactly the amount the Mutation gives.

📌 Example:

• Species' base limit: 6

• Mutation gives: +1 Group Limit

• New limit: 7

⚠️ A Mutation only raises the limit of the species that has it. It does not raise the overall Mixed Herd limit.

Example: a Mixed Herd is still at most 3 species / 6 individuals, unless the server's rules say otherwise.

🔎 Players must be able to prove the Mutation is active if Staff ask to check.

📦 OVERPACK

Overpack means a group with more members than its species allows. Splitting into several Groups in the game changes nothing if the groups actually travel, hunt or fight together.

GROUP LIMITS

Pick a species. Know its limit.

The most individuals of each species in one group. ∞ = no limit.

Below 40% Growth a dino does not count towards the group. From 40% the limit applies. A Mutation raises the limit of its own species only; a mixed herbivore group is still at most 3 species / 6 individuals.

Violation point system (VP)

5 rules

E1

Earning VP

Ordinary violations can earn Violation Points (VP). Each violation can be scored on its own; an incident with several violations, or a very serious one, can earn several VP.

E2

How long VP last

VP count for 30 days from when they are recorded. After that they no longer count towards penalties. The violation history is kept so Staff can review it.

E3

Penalty levels

The penalty depends on the VP still active, the severity, the player's history and the circumstances.

⚠️ Serious violations can be punished more heavily than usual; zero-tolerance offences can lead to a permanent ban without any VP build-up.

E4

Staff authority

Staff may warn, kick, temporarily ban or permanently ban when needed to protect the community and the server's stability. In every decision, Staff weigh the evidence, the circumstances, the severity and the violation history.

E5

Appeals

You can open a ticket to appeal a penalty. Include an F2 Replay/screenshots, your name or ID, when it happened, what you were punished for and any related information.

🤝 Be clear and respectful to Staff. Tickets with insults or harassment may be closed.

🔒 Zero-tolerance bans are not open to the normal appeal process.

ACTIVE VIOLATION POINTS

VP penalty ladder

Each VP counts for 30 days. Staff weigh the severity, history and circumstances of each case.

1VPWarning + Kick
2VP1-hour ban
3VP24-hour ban
4VP7-day ban
5VP30-day ban
6+VPPermanent ban

Zero-tolerance offences can lead to a permanent ban without any VP build-up.

IX

Third-party and mixpack rules

Good to know

🔍 Staff look at everything that happened before, during and after a fight, not only at whether two species attacked the same target.

⚠️ Two different species attacking the same target is not automatically a Mixpack.

🧩 SIGNS STAFF LOOK FOR

• Travelling together for a long time

• Hunting together

• Chasing together

• Protecting each other

• Sharing what a fight brings

• Coordinating before a fight

• Still acting as a group after the fight is over

↔️ THIRD-PARTY AND MIXPACK ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS

⚔️ Third-party is about an independent side joining a fight that is already going on.

🧬 Mixpack is about species that may not group together acting as a group.

⚠️ One case can break both rules at once if there is enough evidence.

X

Evidence and enforcement

Good to know

📹 F2 Replay is the preferred evidence when you report fights, Overpack, Mixpack, Third-party or Combat Log. Keep your Replay until Staff have finished with the case.

📎 Staff may ask for more evidence or information if the Replay/screenshots are not enough to establish what happened.

⚠️ False reports, edited evidence or deliberately misleading information can be punished.

⚖️ Staff decide on the evidence and the whole context of the case, not on a single moment.

🎫 In a dispute, use the ticket system instead of arguing in public.

XI

The Đất Việt spirit

Good to know

Đất Việt wants a relaxed place to play, with few rules that are clear and fair. Play by the rules, respect others, keep your Replay when you need to and open a ticket when something goes wrong.

⚠️ Not knowing the rules is not an excuse. Unsure about a rule → ask Staff before you act.
